Product Overview

The Belt Drive is used in many different applications and is designed according to the machine parameters, all information about the belt lengths, center distances, power ratings and its pulley ranges are required. The pitch, pitch length and width are the three principal dimensions of the belt. The belt pitch is measured on the pitch line of the belt, between the two adjacent tooth centers. The pitch length of the belt is the total length, which is measured along the pitch line. Within the tensile member, the theoretical pitch line belt is relined. The belt consists of a tooth profile which is arranged in trapezoidal geometrical shape. These teeth are positioned with the pulley grooves to have a flat and even surface. The service life of the belt drive is determined according to its usage. The belt drive has excellent flame resistance and abrasion resistance as it is made from neoprene rubber. Even at high temperature range, it maintains good flexibility. Belt drives are maintenance free and cost effective. The operating temperature ranges from -30° F to +180° F.
