This Insert C-F is a cover for 12-pole instrument socket. Inserts provide reusable threads and secure tight threaded joints. The primary benefit for using an insert is that it preserves the threaded joint integrity for the life of the application. An additional benefit is the unlimited reusable thread. It is easy to install, and no tools are needed and can be permanently attached. Moisture absorption of PBT is very low, which makes the material an insulator.
